Review dispute assessment & filing

Challenge reviews that violate platform policies.

We assess your review against Google, Yelp, and Tripadvisor's stated rules, prepare a documented dispute report, and submit it on your behalf — with honest expectations at every step.

Works with Google · Yelp · Tripadvisor
292M+ reviews
were blocked or removed by Google in 2025 for policy violations — the system works when the fit is real
One bad review
can sit at the top of your profile for years if nobody challenges it

Straight talk before you spend a dollar.

  • Every case is assessed individually against the platform's published policies.
  • Removal is policy-based, not accuracy-based. Platforms remove reviews that break their rules — not reviews that are merely unfair. That's why classification comes first.
  • The platform — Google, Yelp, or Tripadvisor — makes the final decision. No one else can.
  • Moderation takes days, not minutes. Silence doesn't mean nothing is happening.
  • Legitimate negative reviews from real customers may remain. That's how the platforms are designed to work.
  • We charge for the assessment work and expertise — never for a promised outcome.
  • We never touch legitimate criticism. That's exactly why platforms take our filings seriously.
The process

Four documented steps.

You'll know exactly what happens with your case, and why.

STEP 01

Submit the review

Share the review link, your business details, and any evidence you have.

STEP 02

Policy assessment

We classify the review — spam, wrong business, conflict of interest, or a legitimate complaint — before recommending anything.

STEP 03

Documented report

If the case has merit, we prepare and submit a documented dispute report.

STEP 04

Outcome & next steps

We explain the platform's decision and what options remain, plainly. On Yelp, that can include a private message to the reviewer — a channel Google doesn't offer.

What qualifies

Some reviews can be challenged. Some can't.

Platforms remove content that breaks their rules — not content you simply dislike. Here's the honest line.

Often eligible for a dispute

  • Suspected spam or fake content — e.g. reviewer never interacted with your business
  • A review posted about the wrong business
  • Conflict of interest — e.g. a competitor or former employee
  • Content that appears to violate the platform's stated policies (hate speech, harassment, off-topic rants)

Usually not eligible

  • A real customer expressing genuine dissatisfaction
  • A low star rating with no text, from a real visit
  • Criticism that's harsh but within the platform's rules
  • Reviews you simply disagree with

If your review isn't eligible, the assessment fee is refunded.

Removal is one tool, not the whole toolbox. If the review is a real customer's complaint, the lasting fix is in your operations — better service recovery, not a takedown request. When that's the answer, we'll tell you that instead of selling you a filing.

Every case follows the same decision tree.

Removal

A policy violation is provable — we file the documented dispute.

Response

The complaint is legitimate — we help you answer it publicly, well.

Recovery

The customer is reachable — we help you fix it offline first.

Rebuild

None of the above fully solves it. Earning new genuine reviews from real customers restores context.

Who does the work

A real person, a real process.

Run by Kendra Lee

Founder & sole proprietor

Reclaim Your Name is run by Kendra Lee, founder and sole proprietor. I review every case personally before anything is filed. The assessment flags likely policy violations; I verify the evidence, write the report, and submit it through the platform's official channels. Every filing cites the platform's own published policy, with evidence attached — not opinion.

How your evidence is handled

  • Stored securely and used only for your case
  • Redacted in any sample or shared material
  • Never sold. Shared only with the platform you're disputing and our payment processor.

What we never do

No fake counter-reviews, no incentives for positive ratings, no public accusations against reviewers, no posting anyone's private information. Those tactics get your profile flagged — platforms restrict businesses that try them. We file clean, documented, policy-based disputes only.

Sample case report

Fictional example
Platform: Google Business Profile
Business: ████████ █████, Edmonton AB
Review: 1★ by "██████ █." — posted ████/██/██
Assessment: Reviewer has no record of interaction with the business; identical text posted to 4 other businesses in the same week. Consistent with the platform's spam policy.
Action: Documented report submitted via the platform's official review-removal channel.
Outcome: Platform's decision pending — timing varies by platform.

This is a fictional example. It shows the format of our work, not a promised result.

Why so affordable?

Traditional reputation firms bundle PR campaigns, SEO programs, and crisis teams — and charge thousands a month for the bundle. Most small businesses don't need any of that. They need one thing: a documented, policy-citing dispute filed correctly. We productized exactly that service, so you pay for the work — not the overhead.

No one guarantees outcomes at any price. A bigger invoice buys more services, not more certainty.
